Paczki are a Polish tradition intended to use up rich ingredients – like sugar, eggs and butter – that are forbidden during Lent. Fat Tuesday is celebrated all over the world the day before Lent starts, and Paczki Day, which it is also called, has deep roots here in the Midwest and with Sweet Perfections owners Ken and Peggy.
Our Paczki are handmade from a rich, sweet, and tender dough in the tradition of Ken’s grandmother. Our Traditional Paczki are filled with Bavarian cream, prune puree, or raspberry puree, then sprinkled with powdered sugar. Our famous Top Shelf Paczki are inspired by our customers, local flavors, and, of course, top shelf booze!
We are no longer accepting orders for Fat Tuesday.
We will be open Tuesday, February 16, from 6 am to 6 pm. All product will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis.
