Can we come in to taste and see your work?

Absolutely, simply click on the Consultation/Tasting page under Wedding Cakes and submit your information. Once received, we will call you to schedule your 50 minute professional consultation/tasting with the owner/baker/decorator. We will brainstorm with your ideas, our creative experiences, sample cake and filling combinations of your choice and view our displays and photo gallery in preparation for the creation of your dream wedding cake.

What determines the pricing of our cake?

The overall cost of your cake depends on the cake flavor, filling, style, number of servings and display options.

Can we choose more than one (1) flavor of cake?

Yes, all though this trendy option can occasionally have you running short of a popular flavor and potentially disappoint some guests. Our signature Cheez Torte offers both “Cake” and “Cheesecake” in each slice or the more traditional “Tuxedo” cake option where you choose your cake flavors.

Do you charge for delivery?

Our local delivery and set-up service starts at $45. Local delivery is considered within a 50 mile round trip from our shoppe. Longer distances require an additional charge.

How much of a deposit do you require?

We require 25% down which will reserve and lock in your date, delivery time.  If you decide to put down 50% you will receive a $50 gift card for our retail store, awesome hey! The deposit will be applied toward your final balance which is due no later than two (2) weeks prior to your event.

Is the top tier included in the total number of servings?

Yes, for cakes $600.00 or more we provide you with a complimentary certificate to redeem a FREE first anniversary cake on your first anniversary so it is fresh and no need for freezing anything! For cakes less than $600.00, the top tier would not be counted for guest servings unless you choose not to save it.

What if we want fresh flowers on our cake?

As fresh flowers have become a more popular choice on wedding cakes, we will work hand in hand with your florist to make sure they have the proper sizes and spacing needed. If you choose to have Sweet Perfections place your flowers there may be an additional fee.

Do we need to return anything after our wedding?

Yes, only if you have contracted refundables. A list of refundables will be secured to the bottom of a box, generally located under the cake table, for which the cleaned refundables are to be returned in within five (5) calendar days of your event to receive a full refund.
